AVweb reader Howard Whyte recommended the FBO after an unscheduled stop at Pottstown:

Recently, while my wife and I were on a cross country flight to visit her brother, we experienced a complete electrical failure. We diverted to the nearest airport and upon landing discovered that because it was Sunday there were no services available. No rental cars, no maintenance and no way home. We called friends and we called acquaintenances, but no luck. Since we are based at N47 we finally called TNT Air. Tom and Angie Noetzel run the FBO there and they immediately sprang into action. Tom picked us up in a Cirrus 22 at no cost, and even let me fly it home. Angie met us on the ramp with cold bottled water and a welcoming smile. That's just the way the operate. Form setting up and hosting a lavish birthday party for a local 96 year old pilot to impromtu cook-outs they manage to keep the airport the place to be. Clean, hospitable, friendly, you couldn't ask for a better FBO than TNT Air.

As a student at Penn State, finding time to finish my initial private pilot training was difficult. During the past three years, two of the three flight instruction FBO's I had tried had gone out of business due to mismanagement or financial difficulties, and the third company was downright scary. After my first and only flight with them, I found out that they did not even use a written flight training syllabus!

My written knowledge test was going to expire in May 2006, and with limited time available, my only chance was to finish 10 hours of flight training along with the check ride preparation, and take the oral exam over Spring Break. That is when I found Tom Noetzel and TNT Air. Tom wasn't sure that I could finish in such a short time, but he promised to do his best to try. Tom was as good as his word. In addition to himself he scheduled two other flight instructors at my convenience; they worked nonstop to prepare me for the qualification ride. Unlike the other FBO's I had used, TNT Air was friendly, professional, and competent. They did a great job. They completed my training over Spring Break and arranged a check-ride examination before I returned to school. Thanks to TNT Air, I am now a fully licensed pilot pursuing my goal of becoming a Marine Corps aviator. TNT Air has my heartfelt gratitude for all their help in meeting my needs. I enthusiastically recommend TNT Air to anyone looking for quality flight instruction as well as a quality flight experience. Thanks Tom, Angie, Joe, James, and Chris. You guys rock!

We came to your airport today 1 March Wednesday, and you showed some nice hospitality. I came in with my 3 sidekicks (geezers) from 2W2, Clearview International as we like to joke. The nice blond lady offered us the pick up truck, but we elected to walk to the Chinese Buffet. I was making constant jokes about the walk to and from. I was the tall blond guy with the Clearview jacket.

We all know that many airports that you fly into, the attitude is snotty. So best of luck to you and your school, and your restaurant! We'll be back!

The folks at TNT Air are out of this world! They go out of their way to help with anything they can. Fuel is a steal in today's market. Tom is an unreal instructor...Angie is the boss!

TNTAir (also the FBO) is a great place to brush up on your skills and for those new to aviation - learn how to fly! The family atmosphere around the main terminal makes it a great place to share personal aviation experiences and learn others with 1000's of hours of flight time. The CFI's are great to work with and the gas price can't be beat! Keep the team flying Tom, Angie, Joe, Glenn and James!

A perfect airport for the general aviation enthusiast. The owners of the FBO (TNT Air) care about making your stay a warm and friendly one. Hot dogs, a cold beverage and a quick turn around for refueling make this one of my favorites.

TNT Air Inc provides me with an ideal learning environment where I may continue my training as a Private Pilot. The staff & trainers answer my many questions and provide me continuous support. This allowed me to perform my first solo flight with ease and confidence. I feel confident and fervent to continue my training to completion and even pursue onto other endeavors. Prior to making my final decision to start my training at TNT Air I have visited several different Certified Training Facilities -- ranging from counties in Lancaster, Westchester, Berks, and Montgomery.
